Elaha Soroor (also spelled as Elaha Sorur) (Persian: الهه سرور) was born in 1988 in Iran. She was in musical reality show Afghan Star, a television program similar to the Idol franchise. Though she didn't secure the first place but earned more fame than other participants due to her voice and being female. She is a member of Hazara ethnic group of Afghanistan.
Personal life
She was born in Iran and lived there for 14 years. She returned to Afghanistan after the fall of Taliban in 2001.
