Edmonton Rugby Foot-ball Club
Edmonton Rugby Foot-ball Club was an early football club formed in Edmonton, Alberta in 1907. It played out of the Edmonton Exhibition Grounds. The team was renamed the Edmonton Esquimaux in 1908 and again as the Edmonton Eskimos in 1910 (a named later adopted by another team as the Edmonton Eskimos in 1949). It later joined the Western Canada Rugby Football Union in 1911. The team twice played in the Grey Cup championship with their final appearance being in 1922 as the Edmonton Elks. The team folded in 1923.
