Editor's Recommendation is a 2001 EP by the indie band Half Man Half Biscuit.[1][2] It comprises the following tracks:
- "Bob Wilson - Anchorman" (1:37)
- "On Passing Lilac Urine" (1:44)
- "Lark Descending" (3:12)
- "Worried Man Blues" (2:30)
- "New York Skiffle" (2:02)
- "Vatican Broadside" (0:31)
"Lark Descending" is a back-handed reference to the poem The Lark Ascending by George Meredith and to the well-known classical music piece based upon it by the composer Ralph Vaughan Williams.
"New York Skiffle" parodies the 1959 single "Does Your Chewing Gum Lose Its Flavour (On the Bedpost Overnight?)" by Lonnie Donegan.
"Vatican Broadside" includes an insulting reference to the band Slipknot.
