Edison High School is a public high school located in Huntington Beach, California which first began operation in 1969. It is a part of the Huntington Beach Union High School District.
History
The school was built on land donated by Southern California Edison, from which its name is derived. There is a yearly rivalry between Edison and Fountain Valley High School.[1] During football season, there is a game, known as "The Battle of the Bell", in which the winning school takes the bell home. This battle is ironic due to the fact that both are part of HBUHSD (Huntington Beach Union High School District)
