Edge of Spirit is a Japanese hardcore band formed in Kobe, Hyogo and based in Tokyo. Edge of Spirit has released four studio albums and four split albums. The band is widely known for pioneering its musical style called metalcore / metallic hardcore. Since 2010, Sho has hosted online hardcore TV shows titled Darkside UST on Ustream in order to support hardcore community by featuring footage from local shows and interviews.[4]
