The Economic Union (German: Wirtschafts Vereinigung) was a political party in the German Empire.
History
The party first contested national elections in 1907, when it won five seats in the Reichstag. The 1912 elections saw it increase in strength to ten seats.[1]
Following World War I it merged into the German People's Party.[2]
Ideology
The party represented conservative members of the middle class. It supported agrarian and social legislation.[2]
