Eastern Obolo is a Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State with its headquarters located in Okoroete. There are two clans in Eastern Obolo namely the Iko clan and the Okoroete clan.
The official language is the Obolo language which is also spoken in the Andoni local government area of Rivers State.
