East Dallas comprises many communities and neighborhoods in Dallas, Texas. East Dallas is also referred to the Lake & Garden District,[1] which spotlights what makes the area unique by highlighting the multitude of green spaces (parks, Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, community gardens and home gardens) and what is often referred to as “the crown jewel of the Dallas parks system” White Rock Lake.
