Early Bird Records A small, Independent Record Label specializing in; Limited Editions of Rare Recordings - Collectors Items, by some of the finest in Jazz.

In 1989 “Early Bird” Records was formed, thereby offering an alternative; creating a window of opportunity, for less ‘mainstream’ Artists to record, to be heard, and for their Legacy to be passed down

Bassist Mickey Bass appears on many of the albums, including Sentimental Mood and Another Way Out, sessions which he led.[1] The label also released Mickey B's Juke Box Revue in two volumes.

A notable release by "The Reunion Legacy Band", featuring Gary Bartz, Charles Tolliver, Grachan Moncur III, John Hicks and Mickey Bass.[2]

Cedar Walton's "Timeless All-Stars" also released an album featuring Bobby Hutcherson, Steve Turre and others.[3]

Bobby Timmons' Live at Connecticut Jazz Party (1964) features Sonny Red, Sam Jones and Mickey Bass.[4]
