Earl A. "Lefty" Davis[1][2] was the eighth head football coach for the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats located in Maryville, Missouri and he held that position for ten seasons, from 1927 until 1936. His career coaching record at Northwest Missouri State was 38 wins, 43 losses, and 8 ties. This ranks him third at Northwest Missouri State in total wins and eighth at Northwest Missouri State in winning percentage.[3]
