Duxbury High School is a public high school in New England, located in the sea-side town of Duxbury, Massachusetts. The superintendent of the district is Dr. Benedict Tantillo, III and the principal of Duxbury High School is Andrew Stephens.[2] The Ellison High School is located on 130 St. George Street where classes were held from 1968 to 2014. The co-located Middle and High School is located at 71 Alden Street, and opened in 2014.
Academics
Total enrollment at the high is 1,037 students with 75 full-time teachers. The average class size is 19.1 students with a student-teacher ratio of 13.5:1. The district per pupil spending is $11,825. The graduation rate for DHS is 98.8% with 88% of students pursuing higher education. 18 Advanced Placement courses are offered.[3] The participation rate in AP courses is 67% with an exam passing rate of 76%. Boston Magazine ranked Duxbury High School #23 on their list of Best Public Schools in Boston 2014.[4]

Boys Soccer holds the National Record for consecutive victories, winning 72 straight games between 1981–85.
