The Durazzo Family is a noble Italian family of Albanian origin who came from the city of Durrës in Albania.[1] The Durazzo family assisted the Republic of Genoa on the development of many cities. Durazzo Family gave nine "Doge" to the city of Genoa.

Modern Days
The Durazzo Family established commerce in Brazil around the mid 1930s and was very prosperous,owning streets and entire neighborhoods in downtown São Paulo. Not much is known about them after the 1980s, the only know facts its that the family have scattered all around São Paulo.Another branch of the family emigrated to the United States of America.
