Cowal Community Hospital (formerly known as Dunoon General Hospital) is a community hospital in Dunoon, Scotland. It is run by NHS Highland. The hospital provides cover to a local population of around 9,000.
It has a GP-led accident and emergency unit, a maternity unit, dental surgery, 2 bed paliative care hospice, 10 bed general ward and clinics led by visiting consultants.[1]
Controversies
In 2012 a male nurse was struck off after it emerged that he viewed so much internet pornography on his NHS laptop the entire hospital network was slowed down.[2][3][4]
