Doug Lennox (January 21, 1938 – November 28, 2015) was a Canadian actor, writer, and radio personality who is perhaps best known for his book Now You Know, The Big Book of Answers and his many appearances in movies such as X-Men and Police Academy.[1]

He was originally cast to play the original antagonist P.T. Boomer in the 2000 adventure fantasy film Thomas & the Magic Railroad but the character was cut from the final film because test audiences found he was too menacing and scary for younger children, though he can still be seen in some trailers, work-print and making a few cameos in the film's final cut.
