Darnley Scantlebury, known to most as Donnie Scantz, is a music producer, musician and songwriter. He is the founder of State of Emergency, a music and extreme lifestyle allegiance dedicated to producing R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop and Rock. He is co-founder of The DS3 (Entertainment) Group along with entrepreneur PJ Douglas Sands and Caribbean Attorney E. Verona Douglas Sands.

He is a two time Grammy Nominee and has worked with artists such as Aaliyah, Toni Braxton, Usher, Ludacris, J. Holiday, Danity Kane and Chris Brown.

Education

Scantz graduated from the High School for Performing and Visual Arts (HSPVA) in Houston, Texas[1] and continued his education at Howard University.
