Adonias "Donnie" Elepio Lucero is an Australian rules football player for the Orange County Bombers, a team based in Orange County.
Club career
He achieved the Best & Fairest 5 times for the bombers in 1998, 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2005.[1] and In 2003, he was voted best and fairest of the Californian Australian Football League
International career
Since 1999, Lucero has been a part of the Revolution, the United States national Australian Rules team. In 2005, he captained the United States National Team in the Australian Football International Cup. He led the Revolution to a third-place finish, and was one of two Revolution players selected to the tournament's All-Stars team.[2][3]
Adonias is recognised as being one of the best players to learn and play the game outside of Australia. Playing mostly in the back line and on the ball, the veteran is known for strong overhead marks and accurate kicking.
As well as his achievements in Aussie rules, Donnie has actively served the United States Marine Corps.[2][4]
