Dominic Breazeale (born August 24, 1985) is an American professional boxer. As an amateur he fought at super heavyweight[1] and was the number one rated U.S. amateur boxer in the division.[2] As a former quarterback on the football team at the University of Northern Colorado, Breazeale qualified for the 2012 Olympics but lost in the preliminary round to Magomed Omarov.[3][4]
Amateur career
Breazeale won the 2012 U.S. National Super Heavyweight championship at the Fort Carson Special Events Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado.[5] He lost in the first round of the London Olympics, 19-8.
Professional career
He is currently 17-0 as a professional, with 15 wins coming by KO. He is fighting under Al Haymon's PBC banner. He is from Alhambra, CA, but currently, makes his home in Anaheim CA.
