Dobropillia (Ukrainian: Добропілля, Russian: Доброполье — Dobropolye) is a city of oblast significance in Donetsk Oblast (province) of Ukraine. It also serves as the administrative center of the Dobropillia Raion, though it does not belong to the raion. Population: 31,196 (2013 est.)[1]; 35,638 (2001). Distance to Donetsk - 94 kilometres (58 mi).
On 13 June 2014, a civilian security guard was killed and two other civilians injured when rebel forces launched 26 grad rockets against a Ukrainian checkpoint in this town.
