District Coordination Officer

The District Coordination Officer is the administrative head of the District Administration in Pakistan. They have wide-ranging responsibility for overseeing, improving and directing the approved plans of the District Government.DCO is the coordinating head of the District Administration.He gives directions for taking actions or measures for improving efficiency, service delivery and achievement of goals assigned in the approved plans of the Districts.[1]

DCO Responsibilities

District are under control of District Coordination Officer.DCOs are responsible for law and order, collection of revenue, developmental program coordination and common welfare of people in their respective districts.[2]
