Algestone acetophenide (USAN) (brand names Neolutin, Droxone, Deladroxone, Decadroxone, Dexadroxate, Bovitrol), also known as 16α,17α-dihydroxyprogesterone acetophenide, is a steroidal progestin that is described as a contraceptive.[1][2] It is the ketal formed between algestone and acetophenone.[1][2]
