Diagonal subgroup

In group theory, a field of mathematics, given a group G, then the diagonal subgroup of the n-fold direct product Gⁿ is the subgroup

\{(g,\dots,g) \in G^n : g\in G\}.

This subgroup is isomorphic to G.
