Devilman is an English Grime MC from Birmingham. He is best known for his idiosyncratic style, deliberately provocative lyrics and his long running dispute with fellow grime MC Skepta as well as for being one of the first grime MCs from outside the London area.[1][2]
Music
In 2005 Devilman released his first mixtape San Andreas. In 2006 he clashed Skepta for the DVD Lord of the Mics 2 in what is remembered as one of the biggest grime clashes.[3][4] This clash created a long running dispute between the two MCs culminating in war dubs being exchanged in 2015.[5][6]
In recent years Devilman has gained a cult following for his YouTube freestyle videos and has released a series of mixtapes and EPs.[7]
