Dessie Glynn was a Republic of Ireland soccer international, who played with Drumcondra in the 1940s and 1950s, scoring 111 goals in his League of Ireland career.
He was the top scorer in the League of Ireland 1950/51 season with 20 goals in only 18 games.
Dublin born Glynn was capped twice for the Republic of Ireland at senior level, at home to West Germany in October 1951, a game in which he scored the winning goal and away to Norway in May 1955.[1]
