Dean Cook (born 3 July 1985)[1] is a British actor, best known for playing Ashley Thompson on the sitcom Time Gentlemen Please, and for his appearance in the 2000 children's fantasy adventure, The Little Vampire.

Career

Cook began his acting career in 1995 at the age of 10 having attended Ravenscourt Theatre School an acting school which had an Agency he attended the same school . He had small parts in several shows during the next few years, including Bodyguards, Lift, Highlander: The Series and the CITV children's comedy series Snap. In 1996 he had supporting role as "The Boy with the Red Basketball" in Steve Barron's The Adventures of Pinocchio. In 2000 he landed the role of Gregory Sackville-Bagg in the film The Little Vampire.

After a successful performance in the film he continued to receive roles on British television. He played Gary in three episodes of Time Gentlemen Please the same year. He also made six appearances as the character Dan in the CBBC drama The Queen's Nose. In 2002 he featured in several episodes of both Casualty and The Bill. His most recent roles have been in My Dad's the Prime Minister (2004), Powers (2004) and Bear Behaving Badly (2007).

Other work

Cook has also acted in advertisements for companies such as AOL and McDonald's. He is on the books of MOT junior, a modelling company, as of June 2009.
