De Abasin Sape or (The Abasin Waves) is a football team in Afghanistan. They play in the Afghan Premier League.
Club history
The club was founded in August 2012 by the creation of the Afghan Premier League and the club played in one of the league's inaugural games.[1] Club players were chosen through a casting-show called Maidon-E-Sabz ("Green Field").[2]
The club represents the South-Eastern region of Afghanistan.[1]
The team is named after a Pashto language name for the Indus River – Abasin ("Father of Rivers").[3]
