DeLane Matthews (born August 7, 1961) is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Beth Barry in the CBS television series Dave's World from 1993 to 1997.

Career

DeLane Matthews was raised in northern Florida. She moved to Manhattan after being hired to join the Kennedy Center/Juilliard School Acting Company. Acting in theater productions, she appeared Off-Broadway in City Boys at the Jewish Rep, and Pieces of Eight at The Public Theater. She also performed in The Cradle Will Rock, The Merry Wives of Windsor, and Pericles, and toured in The Bat, Grease, The Invaders and I Oughta Be in Pictures.

Following daytime television work in General Hospital and The Guiding Light in New York City, she transitioned into primetime television on the Peter Boyle series Joe Bash, playing the part of the streetwalker Lorna.

Television guest-credits include Castle, Cold Case, Diagnosis Murder, From the Earth to the Moon, Murphy Brown, Nip/Tuck, Quantum Leap, The Shield, and Saving Grace..

DeLane also appeared in The Muppets' "She Drives Me Crazy" music video.
