Dayton, Lassen County, California

Dayton is a former settlement in Lassen County, California.[1] It was located 20 miles (32 km) east of Susanville.[1]

A post office operated at Dayton from 1873 to 1875.[1] The town was named after Dayton, Nevada, the first postmaster's home town.[1]
