David Burroughs Mattingly
David Burroughs Mattingly (born June 29, 1956, Fort Collins, Colorado) is an American illustrator and painter, best known for his numerous book covers of science fiction and fantasy literature.
He has been the Artist Guest of Honor at a number of conventions, including Technicon 24[1] and Loscon 42.[2] He is also known for his work as a film matte painter, including The Watcher In The Woods, Dick Tracy, and I, Robot.[3] He has also published a handbook on digital matte painting.
