David Allen Brooks (born January 9, 1947) is an American actor, who had a recurring role in the short-lived science fiction television series Crusade.
Aside from a bit part in a television adaptation of The Merry Wives of Windsor in 1970, Brooks' first professional role was Jim Dedrickson on the soap opera The Edge of Night in 1981 and 1982. He would later be a regular on the Babylon 5 spin-off, Crusade, playing archaeologist Max Eilerson. He also managed to land a part in the Daft Punk video for the song "Revolution 909" where he plays a Police Officer. He also played Keith Dennison in The Young and the Restless in 1999. Brooks was in the Windsong Perfume advertisement in the 1980s showing a closeup of his face smelling a woman's perfumed scarf.
The San Jose Mercury News described him as the "Surfer type [who] plays the handsome young molecular biologist" in the film The Kindred.[1]
