Datnioides microlepis (common names: Indonesian tiger datnoid, Indo datmoid, Indonesian tigerfish, or finescale tigerfish) is a species of freshwater fish endemic to the Chao Phraya River basin in Thailand, the Mekong River basin, the Kapuas River basin in Indonesian Borneo, and the Musi River basin in Sumatra,Indonesia[1] This fish is commonly seen in the aquarium trade, and often is seen when juvenile about 3–4 in (8–10 cm) long. This fish grows up to 18 in (46 cm) in the wild, but generally only reaches 12 in (30 cm) in aquaria.
