History

Dr. Lalit Kanodia founded the Datamatics Group in the year 1975. Dr. Kanodia is one of the Chief Architects of India’s Information technology Industry. Dr. Kanodia became the founder CEO of Tata Consultancy Services in 1967 when the legendary J. R. D. Tata invited Dr. Kanodia to set up a software company in India for the TATA Group. He has been listed in the Dataquest Hall of Fame as one of the 10 persons, who have created the Indian IT industry along with Shri Rajeev Gandhi & Mr. J. R. D. Tata.

The Company has, over the years, developed competencies in the business process outsourcing segment and has moved up the value chain by providing a suite of services including content management, back office processing, and related software services in the fields of workflow application/solutions, data warehousing, data management, data migration/consolidation to its customers worldwide.
