Darren Porter (born 8 May 1984) is an English DJ and trance music producer from Sunderland, UK, living in Germany.

Moving to Germany in 2010, as an apprentice music editor and composer for small independent movie and TV shows, Darren Porter began his shift into the world of trance music. He started to enjoy working with other amateur producers to build his sound and technical level which is still improving today. Darren Porter known throughout the trance world as a very talented and unique producer with ability to demonstrate very powerful energy in his works coupled with his knowledge and experience in musical theory he is known to create very euphoric and touching melodies and chord progressions, a skill he has developed through his years working with Tv and movies scores. He is not only suited to trance music, but able to produce music from ambient to house, from Jazz to show tunes. Darren also creates sound banks for various synths adding sound design to his list of skills in the industry and offers templates for various DAW's to buy that show various techniques in production for aspiring producers. With release, remixes and collaboration all of which are topping charts, Darren also runs his own Engineering company offering studio services such as ghost writing, engineering, consultation and other things.

Darren was nominated for Best Artist, Best Remixer and Best Track with the 2014 Trance Empire awards, he was also nominated for many other productions awards.

Darren Porter is also involved in numerous projects throughout the industry. Darren Porter works very closely with friend and colleague Sean Tyas and is currently A&R manager at Tyas' Label "Tytanium Recordings" which is a sub label of "Black Hole Recordings".[1][2]
