Dargahi Shah is a village in Jhang District in the Punjab province of Pakistan. It is located at 31°7'0N 72°2'60E with an altitude of 148 metres (488 feet).[1] Dargahi shah was Named on Syed Dargahi Shah Bukhari. Area of Dargahi shah is about 10 sqkm and estimated population is 7000. Dargahi is divided into two portion by Rang Pur canal. Complete land is irrigated through Rang pur canal which originates from Trimu headworks. Maj source of income for the people of this area is agriculture. There are two Sugar Mills in Dargahi Shah which also contributes in income of people. Literacy rate as compare to other villages of Punjab is very good. Mostly people of this area are government job oriented. Maj caste of this area is BALOCH which makes 2/3rd of total population. Other caste incl syed, Malik, Malah and Lungah. Important personalities of area were SYED NOOR SHAH BUKHARI and SHER KHAN BALOCH. Now a days Famous People of the area are Haji Ghulam Haider Khan, Ramzan Khan, Iqbal HUssain Khan, Ahmad Khan, Mehdi Khan and Ahmad Hussain Khan.
