Darbhanga College of Engineering (DCE Darbhanga) is a government owned engineering college in Bihar, India, inaugurated by Nitish Kumar(chief minister of Bihar) ESTD in 2008. It is affiliated with the Aryabhata Knowledge University, Patna.

History

It was previously known as JMIT. In 2008 it reopened with a new name, Darbhanga College of Engineering, under LNMU University. In 2011, it became a member of the AKU Family.

Admission

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts the entrance test for all Bihar government institutions in two stages. The first stage is the screening test or preliminary test .The screened candidates appear in the mains Examination (second stage). Based on the merit list of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination (2nd stage) successful candidates are required to appear at the office of the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, Patna.
