Daphnis and Chloe (Greek: Δάφνις και Χλόη), is a 1931 Greek romance film written and directed by Orestis Laskos, based on the namesake novel of the 2nd-century writer Longus. It is sometimes said it was the first European film containing nude scenes, but actually the earliest film with a nude scene was the 1897 George Méliès's After The Ball.
