Danny Washbrook (born 18 September 1985 in Hull, in the East Riding of Yorkshire) is an English rugby league player who plays for Hull F.C. in the European Super League.
Washbrook is plays at loose-forward and can also operate at stand-off. Hull reached the 2006 Super League Grand final to be contested against St Helens RLFC and Washbrook played at loose forward in his side's 4–26 loss.[2]
He signed a 3-year deal at Super League club Wakefield Trinity, following Hull Coach Richard Agar.
On 4 May 2014, Danny made his 200th career appearance. Fittingly his current club, Wakefield, beat his former club, Hull F.C., on his milestone.[3]
On 13 August 2015 Hull FC resigned Danny on a 2-year deal, with coach Lee Radford saying he returns a better player than the last time he was at the club. Washbrook can play loose forward or cover Danny Houghton at hooker and even cover in the centres despite not being a centre by trade.
