Danny Faure (born 8 May 1962) is a Seychellois politician who has been Vice President of Seychelles since 1 July 2010.[1][2] Faure is a member of the People's Party (PP).
Faure was born in Kilembe Mines, Uganda. He is a graduate in political sciences from an institution in Cuba.[3] Faure was Leader of Government Business in the National Assembly from 1993 to 1998, then served in the cabinet as Minister of Education from 1998 to 2006. He has been the Minister of Finance since 2006 in the cabinet of President James Michel.[4] He was appointed as Vice-President in 2010, while retaining the finance portfolio.
