Danielle Kirsten Muriel Castaño (born August 21, 1989), also known as Danielle Castaño, is a Filipino-American TV Host, actress, beauty queen, and represented the Philippines in the Miss World 2008 pageant. She was the crowd favorite in the Binibining Pilipinas 2008 pageant, winning five awards from the major sponsors and placing Miss World 2008 to compete in South Africa.

Danielle place in the top 10 beach beauty as top 5 (swim suit competition) finalists and placed among the top 32 Top Model competition out of 112 girls from different countries during Miss World 2008. In 2012, Castaño participated in the first season of the reality competition series The Amazing Race Philippines placing eighth out of eleven teams.[1]

Background

Castaño was born and grew up in Glendale, California, but later moved to Manila . She finished her secondary education in Herbert Hoover High School in California, United States where she was also part of the track and field and cross country varsity team.[2] she graduated college 2014 in Ricther School of Naturopathic medicine as a naturopath doctor. she now owns a wellness and slimming spa in the Philippines.
