Daniela Anette di Giacomo di Giovanni (born May 15, 1985) is a Venezuelan TV show host, journalist, radio host, model and Venezuelan beauty queen. She was elected Miss Venezuela international 2005 and was crowned Miss International 2006 in China.[1] She worked on Venezuelan channel Televen for a long time. Daniela is working on Univision in the United States recently.
Her victory in the 46th edition of Miss International, held in Beijing, China, earned Venezuela its fifth title in the pageant's history, making it the most successful country to date. She bettered 51 other delegates to wear the pageant's newly unveiled crystal crown, rather than the traditional pearl crown. Di Giacomo received as a prize a ¥3,000,000 check, a Maki Diamond tiara with 637 diamonds and a Yasokichi Tokuda III kutani blue ceramic trophy.
Personal life
Di Giacomo is an Italo-Venezuelan who was born in Caracas.
Standing at 5'9, her modeling career started in Paris and Milan at the age of 17. She currently attends Monteavila University in Caracas and is fluent in Spanish language and Italian language. Her favorite soccer star is Fabio Cannavaro from F.C. Juventus soccer team. Her sister, Linn Di Giacomo, is also a model.
Di Giacomo is currently planning on attending The United Nations to expose her ideals. Di Giacomo is against any kind of cosmetic surgery, she says that a real beauty should be born and not made.

Pageant participations
Di Giacomo represented Barinas in the Miss Venezuela 2005 pageant. The 2005 edition of the national pageant can now claim two winners of the "Big Four" international pageants, namely Di Giacomo and Alexandra Braun, Miss Earth 2005, both of whom placed behind Jictzad Viña and Susan Carrizo (who in turn both failed to enter the semifinals of Miss Universe 2006 and Miss World 2005, respectively). Another alumnus, Marianne Puglia, who finished in the bottom half of the top ten, placed third runner-up in Miss Earth 2006.
Prior to winning Miss International, Di Giacomo also competed in Miss World Coffee Pageant in Guatemala, where she placed as a finalist and won the Miss Photogenic title.
On October 15, 2007, Di Giacomo crowned Miss Priscila Perales of Mexico Miss International 2007. The pageant was held in Tokyo, Japan.
