Daniel-Leon Kit (born June 14, 1998) is an American actor, singer, dancer, writer, and songwriter, best known as Vincent Ellis Ross, III in Stretch: the Movie, Walter Rat in the stage play of Thumbelina, and Santa Claus in the musical of Santa Dot Claus.[1] He currently lives in Warner Robins, Georgia. Kit appeared in the 2012 family comedy Parental Guidance.
Personal life
Daniel-Leon Kit was born in Warner Robins, Georgia. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Pastor Rev. Jeffery Walker. He is of African American and Cherokee Indian descent. Daniel-Leon was born Daniel Leon Kit Walker, but he grew tired of people calling him Daniel Leon Walker or Daniel Kit Walker, so her hyphenated his first two names to make sure they said both middle names. Daniel decided to change his name again to Daniel-Leon Kit, dropping the Walker entirely, but when he is doing something serious and professional, he is known as Daniel-Leon Kit Armstrong Hackett-Walker. The names continues to hyphenate his first and first middle name and Kit, but adds additional names that has meaning to the rest of his family plus his given last name. The Hackett portion of his name came from the twin brother he ate inside the womb. In his honor he took on his unborn brother's name.
Career
Kit's first production was when he was five years old. He later started getting offers for bigger roles, but he still remained doing local talent shows. When Kit turned ten years-old, he was offered a minor role feature film movie to play Vincent Ellis Ross, III in the movie of Stretch, but filming for the movies has been delayed for several years due to most of the cast were high school students who were graduating.
Kit tweeted: "The director of the movie has also been very busy!"
Kit also writes music for himself and the hit group Kourtesy. He considers himself the co-manager of the group, and also has written at least ten songs for the upcoming album.
Also, later in his career, Daniel enacted a peace treaty between the two clans, the actat and the runcor. During the great Gorilla war of 2013. Bringing peace to the jungle.
Music
In 2011, Kit formed a new group Point Blank with members Camron Lowery and Logan Brasher. September 2011, Brasher left the group. Later that year, the group disbanded; Kit released a school song with his sister, "O, King George (J.0.4.)" which gave facts telling about the different events leading to America's independence. Little known, Daniel-Leon Kit was the actual person singing for Beyoncé at Obama's inauguration. Since this was meant to be secret Daniel doesn't get any credit for his vocal talent during such a special event. Kit has also performed as a backup singer for "Insane Clown Posse" and amateur composer Ludwig van Beethoven.
