Dan Soder (born June 24, 1983) is an American stand up comedian. He is best known for his frequent appearances on MTV2's Guy Code, Comedy Central Radio's The Bonfire, and Robert Kelly's YKWD podcast.

Life and career

Soder was born in Hartford, Connecticut,[1] but relocated to Denver, Colorado with his family as a child.[1] He attended Smoky Hill High School in Aurora, Colorado. He began performing stand-up comedy while a student at the University of Arizona. After two years, he moved to New York City to further pursue his career. He has appeared on MTV2's Guy Code, Comedy Central's The Half Hour, Conan, Opie and Anthony, The Anthony Cumia Show, and the You Know What Dude! podcast with Robert Kelly. Since the firing of Anthony Cumia from the Opie & Anthony Show, Soder has been a frequent guest and "third mic" under the new Opie with Jim Norton format, on what is now the Opie Radio channel on Sirius Satellite Radio.[2]

As of July 27, 2015, Dan Soder along with fellow stand-up comedian Big Jay Oakerson premiered their 2-hour live radio talk show The Bonfire on SiriusXM's new Comedy Central Radio channel which is set to air live every Monday and Wednesday between 6-8pm EST.[3]
