Dan Ito (伊藤壇, Itō Dan, born 3 November 1975) is a Japanese football player who currently plays for Thimphu F.C. in Bhutan National League.

Career

His football career is unique among his Japanese counterparts in that Ito has traveled and played as a foreign footballer in 18 countries/regions around Asia Pacific including Japan, Australia, Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Brunei, Maldives, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Myanmar, Nepal, Cambodia, Philippines, Mongolia, Laos and Bhutan.

Ito appeared for the Hong Kong League XI selection which participated at the 2004 Carlsberg Cup.^[1]
