Damir Džombić (born 3 January 1985 in Srebrenik, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Bosnian football player playing as defender for FC Vaduz in the Swiss Super League.

Football career

Džombić started out at FC Basel in 2003 and was loaned out to Swiss Challenge League outfit FC Wil in the 2004/05 season to let his talents develop. When he returned to St. Jakob-Park, he failed to break into the first-team and was released by the club in 2007. He then signed for Liechtenstein's FC Vaduz on a free transfer and helped them earn promotion to the Swiss Super League in 2008. He scored the first goal of his professional career in a 2–1 defeat to FC Sion at Rheinpark Stadion on 16 August 2008.

International career
