Dale Gray (born February 15, 1978 in Edinburgh) is a Scottish footballer who plays in defence or midfield. Gray began his career with Dundee United and made two appearances in the unsuccessful Scottish Challenge Cup campaign, featuring in the quarter- and semi-final victories, but failed to appear in the league. Following his release from Tannadice in June 1999, Gray moved to Ireland with Sligo Rovers, being reunited with former United player Jim McInally, before coming back to Scotland to finish the season with Cowdenbeath. In September 2000, Gray moved to Berwick[1] and spent three seasons at Shielfield before his release in June 2003. It is unknown where Gray moved after this, although he returned to Shielfield in April 2008 for Grant McNicoll's testimonial match against a Hearts Legends side,[2] with the game finishing 4-4.[3]
