Dag Martin Mikkelsen (born 25 June 1986 in Stavanger) is a Norwegian poker player, known as "dmmikkel". At the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event Mikkelsen at one time was the chip leader.[1] Eventually he came in 42nd place and won the largest sum a Norwegian has ever won in WSOP. He is also known for getting a Royal Flush on camera during WSOP, which is a chance of 1 to 124 000.[2]
Mikkelsen started with poker as a 17-year-old attending St. Olav High School. He continued with the poker through his time as a truck driver in the Army.
Mikkelsen finished fourth in the 2009 European Poker Tour Grand Final in Monte Carlo. He started the final day as the chip-leader and continued to be until the final 4, where he got eliminated.[3]
