Daffodil Records
For the Canadian record label of the same name that existed from 1971 to 1978, see Daffodil Records (Canadian Label).
Daffodil Records is a record label started in 1974[1] by jazz musician Blossom Dearie, after her disappointment in the lack of interest shown by existing labels in her particular style of jazz music.[2]
After Blossom's death, Daffodil was continued by James Smith. Sheet music and compact discs are available. Some hard-to-find albums have been digitized.
