DJ Paulette[1] (born Paulette C.) is a Manchester born, English house music DJ. She is currently a resident for two radio programs on FG DJ Radio: Underground FG and Radio FG Paris France and hosts Space Bass on Dash Radio. In addition to her Radio broadcasts, she also has a two-hour monthly show on Pacha FM. She was Voted ‘Best DJette’ (French and International Scene) in the Burn FG MTV Dance Awards (2007 and 2010)
Career
Paulette played her first dj set at the No1 Club Manchester.[2][3] Her first residency was at the infamous Flesh nites promoted by Paul Con's[4] held at The Haçienda[5][6] Manchester (1991-1995), she then moved to London to play at the Garage club nite's at Heaven, followed by residencies at The Zap Club (Brighton) and the Ministry of Sound[5] (London / International). In 1998 Paulette has also joined a long list of DJs and Producers in having her own Essential Mix, which aired on BBC Radio 1 on January 3, 1998.[7] She moved to Paris in December 2004 and secured a weekly residency with Radio FG (April 2005 – present) and the Mix Club (2005–09), Redlight (club) and Fashion TV (releasing two Fashion TV compilations). In October 2005 she mixed the Inaugural Mix Club Compilation which was released in February 2006. DJ Paulette also produces a weekly radio show for Radio FG; writes a monthly column for ‘Only For DJs’ magazine, has a monthly Pacha Radio residency, and is an official a&r scout for Data Records. Paulette has performed at the Solidays Parade in May 2005, Nuit Du Zapping at Bercy in November 2006, at Marche Des Fiertés for Radio FG in June 2007 and for the RDC Char at Techno Parade in July. In 2013 Paulette moved to Ibiza to take up a residency at ITACA in San Antonio and also hosted Vista Club at The Privilege in 2014 she was summer resident at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel.
Personal life
Paulette is sister of Former Coronation Street actress Lisa Lewis, who played Shirley Armitage from 1983-1989.
