D17 (pronounced: [de dis.sɛt]) is a private national French TV channel, owned by Canal+ Group.

History

D17 launched on 7 October 2012 replacing Direct Star, previously owned by Bolloré Group.

D17 is composed mainly of music programmes since retains its musical format. There are also documentaries, concerts, series, dramas, movies and Japanese anime.
