Cyclopentadienyl nickel nitrosyl is a blood-red color liquid. It was discovered by a team at The International Nickel Company.[1] The molecular formula is (C5H5)NiNO. It can be prepared by treating nickelocene with nitric acid.[2] It is extremely toxic (T+).
