Cy Chadwick (born 2 June 1969) is an English actor, director, producer, and presenter. His most notable acting role was of Nick Bates in 205 episodes of the long-running British soap Emmerdale Farm between 1985 and 1996.[1]
A year after leaving the series, Leeds-born Chadwick rejoined ITV Yorkshire as a director. As a freelance television producer, Chadwick co-founded the production company "ATypical Media".[2] He works for BBC Entertainment and is directing and producing the Young Professionals of the Year series for the BBC Three.[3]
Cy has recently returned to a role in front of the camera, playing Peter Stringfellow in the forthcoming TV Drama, The String, to be broadcast on ITV3.
